Okay, let’s get things become crystal clear, happiness can be created. How?
Be Honest, do kindness and forgive others are the main ingredients to create this happiness. We have already discussed about why it’s important to be honest and why it was mentioned first in the ingredient.
Okay so moving on to DO KINDNESS.
Familiar with this one?
Pretty sure that most of you guys agree with the statement given right? Well of course we are considering our feelings so that we will not get hurt and broken-hearted.
Well-well let me open this for you.
So listen carefully, I mean read…read carefully.
What if I’m telling you that it’s not actually the right thing to do?
Okay stay cool. Let me explain to you.
They say never waste your time to someone who doesn't appreciate us. Well this is actually not quite right. How many of us do realize that they tell us to treat someone nicely only to those who appreciated us. In other words, we only be nice to someone who do nice to us. It means we are expecting something in return!!
We become nice to people and are hoping they are doing the same. If they don’t, we don’t want to waste our time anymore. We only be nice to those who are nice to us. We’re expecting people to do nice to us after we had become nice to them, right?
Now, wait just for a moment!
Dear readers, I hope you realize that it’s what we do that matters. It’s what we do that counts. Just because people hurt us in the past, it doesn’t mean we have to stop being nice to them. We have to know that the more kindness we give, the happier we will become. It doesn’t matter what people did to us. Let bygones be bygones. It’s what in front of us that matters.
Yes it’s true that we have to learn from mistakes, learn from the past. But be smart enough to learn from the past and use it to keep moving forward! Be mature enough to forgive people but be smarter not to waste your trust on them again.
We need to learn how to open our heart and let go things that hurt you. Let it free. Open your heart as wide as the ocean and accept people as they are. Be nice to everyone. Always do kindness to everyone. Trust me, we will be surprised of how happy we can be by doing kindness to everyone. And we will be even surprised how the Lord will return it back to us in much unexpected ways. Because we will never know when we will need help, right?
And lastly, as we open our heart wide as the ocean we will never ever get hurt. Why?
Because we are matured enough to see that in this temporary world, people come and go, and as they cross our life, we will surely learn something from them. Either they change us or we change them.
That’s why we have to always look at the good side of every people we meet. So that we can learn something from them. And this is the reason why we have to be kind to everyone.
Don’t let any chain binds us from seeing this. You need to break free from the chains of hatred, hasad, jealousy and lies. Be free! Free ourselves from hatred. I know it’s not an easy task because there will always a Satan that will whisper to us to do bad things. So that’s why we need to do kindness to everyone regardless of what they have done to us, regardless of what will they do after we be kind to them.
Any religion will teach us to do kindness to everyone. Our Prophet taught us to always be nice to everyone. And he taught us that no matter what people do to you, always do kindness to them, because it’s what you do that Allah counts. Not what people did to you. This kindness is our shares for our akhirat. And kindness can be done in VARIOUS WAYS as long as it meets our syaria.
Just be nice to everyone. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated equally. We can’t expect people to be nice to us first, then we will be nice to them. The change starts with us! And NEVER EXPECT ANYTHING IN RETURN. And that’s all for this month, will continue for the last part next month in sya Allah.
Remember BE HONEST, DO KINDNESS, FORGIVE OTHERS. Happiness will be created eventually.
